If you're asking about the top photo, no clue. Could be some form of Cyprus, but I'm not a plant expert. I'm sure someone else here with better plant knowledge could weigh in. Good luck!

The common one with that general appearance (including the rich coloring) is Thuja occidentalis 'Smaragd'.

Cyprus is the island, the tree is cypress.

Maybe it means you are ready for an overseas vacation, thinking about distant locales.

The pine needles say The South, but if you want any useful plant suggestions for the bed along the property line people will need to know where you are. Right now the scene is very open with a long view of the neighborhood. Do you want to leave that open some or close it off?

christopher C. Yes, I forgot to mention I am in the south. I am in zone 8a (South eastern NC) I would not mind keeping it somewhat open since it’s the front yard. The space is long and has no interest at the moment.

Dig Doug, I love the design. I had crape a crape Myrtle in mind but I hadn’t even thought about a second one for symmetry. I love hollys too because they are easily shaped and tidy looking. Thanks for your rendering!

Camellia was the first thing that came to mind. Depending on selection they can be a shrub or small tree. Azalea of course for spring bloom. Hydrangea macrophylla for summer. The camellia do fall and winter bloom. Dwarf loropetalum is worth a look. Holly trees can provide taller evergreen screening if wanted with select placement. Add in some crinum lilies and lycoris bulbs for fun.

Just put the taller plants where screening is more desired and the shorter ones where you'd like it more open. Don't let the current shape of the bed dictate plant placement. Arrange the plants how you want them and adjust the bed shape if needed.
