Our DW recently died and created water damage under the hardwood floors, which is the final straw for this kitchen - so we are going to renovate. I have been on GW for a long time and will come back to ask for help with layout etc...in this thread i want to focus on one topic: will an Ikea Axstad panel fit on a Bosch panel ready DW? I had been asking about which Bosch DW to buy in another thread and am open to the 300, 500, and 800 series.. The appliance store shared the Bosch 800 panel DW specs and it says it can fit a Panel with height from 27 1/2 - 30 1/8 and width from 23 1/8 to 23 3/8.

I want to buy the DW now before the renovation begins and then add the panel later. As a side note, I visited Ikea today to look at the Axstad and was pleasantly surprised - it is lovely! Also learned that Ikea is moving away from Whirlpool appliances to Electrolux soon. Thank you.
