The biggest difference is that your inspiration is vaulted and has a thinner profile.

Did you sign off on specific drawing? There might be some limitations your contractor had to comply with? Have you asked why the differences?

We would need a lot more info as to what you signed off on and I would need to see those drawings I don’t even know what is your house .

It would help if you would take the picture straight on like the illustration you provided for the builder. Taking the picture at this acute angle distorts what we are trying to see.

In my opinion, the overhang is too close to the arch for starters

I’m not seeing any difference that can’t be explained by perspective.

I think the roofing material will extend past the structure therefore camouflaging the thickness of the fascia with the overhang. However, it does look to be not as deep as the mock up.

The problem is someone added the overhang by manipulating the image. If you look at the distance between the red lines on each side, it's not even centered.

A builder needs construction drawings showing what to build, not an inaccurate picture.

I don't think you have a disaster here. I think you should keep going. Remember that the metal roofing can overhang the understructure so it can come out further. What's there looks great to me and is a good base for the rest of the job. It will be very nice when done! Don't worry, you are on the right track!!
