Thanks for your reply but not sure you understood what I was asking. I am only asking about mixing cup pull with regular pulls and where to place them location-wise in my specific kitchen if using both (not where to place them on the cabinet). My kitchen layout is done...love the look of my range top pulled forward slightly and although I know kitchens are trending away from desks, I use mine every day and need it there!

seems to me that people mix and match all the time. usually cup pulls on drawers and knobs or handles on doors. but I don't see it being a problem if the island had all handles.

but if you're frozen by indecision, why don't you just nix the idea of using cup pulls altogether? the handles you chose will still give your kitchen that antique-y look that cups do.

Thanks ILoveMod. I do see people mixing both, putting handles on doors and cups on drawers. However, I like the doors with knobs so then I would have three things going on. It's hard for me to nix things, I always want a little bit of everything! My husband really likes the cup pulls as do I but think all cup pulls is overload. I do want to incorporate them somewhere so was wondering the best place to put them. I agree with you less is more but I thought if I keep it low key and use selectively won't be too much! But where to put them is the question...

I wouldn’t mix drawer pulls.

For me, cup pulls are more farmhouse. Your kitchen looks very traditional.

I would go with pulls and knobs.

Funny, we just did a master bathroom. I am so used to pulls in drawers and knobs on doors. But, the sales rep mentioned that currently people care using all pulls. We went with it! Really doesn’t matter, but we laughed at ourselves for being current!

Thanks eld6161! I think we ruled out the cups sadly. Just think it will be too much as we are planning on putting some cremone bolts on a few doors and mesh in cabinets. Interesting, all pulls are in style! I can see that. We had it in our last kitchen and now want a more clean look on the uppers. For backsplash, we are going with thassos subway tile outside with below in center picture frame. Darn marble is sooooo much work trying to find good pieces. Went to 7 stores, sifted through at least 50 sheets at each store, brought home about 40 sheets and hand cut each piece and positioned individually! Lots of work!

It will look amazing. I didn’t realize the work that had to be done for those tiles.
