If dings scratch paint ...white spots show and dirt ....shows dark spots....if you think this will be a big problem maybe a patterned wall (with stencils) or washable printed vinyl paper will make it fun and colorful in what is essentially a more functional room

So I have given you some grays based on your initial post. I eliminate Coventry Gray because I feel it is too cool for the Classic Gray. Having used both Stonington and Coventry Grays, I can tell you that neither hide dirt well, so if that is your criteria, than you need to go darker. I can find some "color" options, if you prefer. All these colors are from Benjamin Moore and do relate in terms of their DNA (see Camp Chroma for more on that), but I didn't add those details.

Thank you all! We’ve started to consider Shaker Gray, as we like the blue undertones and have come to realize a darker color (like said :)) will best hide dirt.

I realize this is an older post but hope you reply! Could you possibly post a picture of your classic gray walls with chantilly lace cabinets please?? this is the color combo I’m most interested in. I would really appreciate it!
