If you could stand on the sidewalk facing the door and take a picture that can enlarge that would be better. While you are standing there look to the left and take a picture then look right and do the same. Be sure to stand at the same spot in front of the door.

I don't think your house is flat at all. Your just used to see houses all tarted up by builders with bad taste.

You need to draw attention to the entrance and away from the garage door.

The landscaping is not helping. Neither is the butterscotch colored garage door.

Larger lanterns would be nice for the garage.

What color is the roof?

I agree that you’ve got a good start. I’d second the garage door painting, and remove the hedges blocking the view of the front door. Replace with some lower, more colorful plants. Remove at least the left most shrubs under the window and replace with a nice hardwood tree for some height.

Expand your front walk into a patio and add pots with color at the front door.

IMo landscaping will be your friend and IMO the garage door needs replacing with something in wood with windows since it is the first thing you see and remove those shutters they do not work on those windows or on that house A tree in the front yard for sure and some color in the landscaping a colored front door

Agree with the comments above. Your garage door needs to be changed - at least painted, but a wood or wood-look door would be better.

The shutters are okay to me. They could be painted a darker color depending on your roof color.

The biggest improvement you could make is the landscaping and the walkway to your front door.

I prefer a lighter or bolder accent color on your front door as it appears to be sunken into the shadows right now. As an added step you could tie in your front door color with the same color plants in strategic locations.
