she's gorgeous!! i've had danes for 13+ years and the ones i've trained to leash walk and the confirmed "pullers" always did best with a sort of head collar. check out the "halti" and the "gentle leader". they are used just like a horse halter...where the head goes, the body follows.

if you decide to try one or the other, make sure you introduce it slowly so she won't fight it. you should put it on her for a few minutes each day until she gets used to it before you actually take her out for a walk. also, i ALWAYS have a regular collar/leash on my danes if we are out walking just for an extra measure of safety. way back when i had huskies, they were experts at slipping even a well-fitted head collar.

Second the Gentle Leader or Halti. My daughter could walk our Rottie at three years old. It’s power steering for dogs. I use a light-weight leash with the Gentle Leader to avoid extra weight on their nose.
