@Megan if you’re doing a straight stack which is pretty modern, Schluter trim might look best for your edges.

We’ve got Makoto vertical straight stack with Schluter trim in two of our bathrooms. Gives a finish to the edge. I can send pics if you want, or maybe you’ve already completed your project?

Hi Carrie, we did Makoto gray subway with the gray Schluter, I wanna say it’s the plastic or PVC Schluter line.

Makoto is beautiful!! To me it feels very natural/ organic with its matte finish and variation. Have fun with your project 😉

@Kandra We are also doing a vertical stack using Makoto in our shower. Your showers look great! I wanted to ask if you also used the Schluter trim for the niche edges? I've been finding it very difficult to find a good trim for the edges for both the niche and the sides (without using the Makoto jolly, which is $$$).

@aha106 - I am contemplating a Makoto for the shower - and I would love to see a picture of your shower! There are many Cloe photos but hardly any real life Makoto photos I've come across. thank you!

@pongstress Here is my shower using Makoto white! We still need to install the finishes and shower door. I'm very pleased with how it turned out. We ended up using Schluter to trim the edges around the window, niche, and sides of the shower.

Hi just a FYI, Makoto has it's own trim for each color; .5 x 8" :)
