Not much help, but wanted to say your laundry and pet area are looking nice and functional. Also, our plumber is always always always saying to not buy plumbing items/fixtures at the big box stores. He says the quality is inferior to a plumbing supply store. Google that term and your options will show up if you put in your zip code. I did so anyways because it's a bit of a trek for me to get to a plumbing supply store when I can order online from one of the big box stores. I know I'll be sorry for it sooner rather than later though. And the plumber (with decades of experience) will shake his head, not chastise me, but rather say "it keeps me in business"; because the item will fail sooner coming from a big box store. I know, because we've done this before.

thanks! yes, eventually a tile backsplash but i figure that's last.

and yes on the sink, i have a 18x24 undermount stainless sink chosen..... the reason i'm having to do wall mount is b/c the base cabinet is not large enough for a full size sink and faucet . i had it custom made to not come out too far so when you walk in the laundry room, you don't walk into the cabinet. so it's not deep enough for a traditional sink...i can get a small square sink in...the base cabinet is 21" deep and i want a full size sink.

so i can either put the faucet on the LEFT (neither of us are left handed) or mount it on the wall. wall mount is going to cost more but i think it will look cleaner and be more functionable. that's what i'm hoping!

Your options can still be major brands like Kohler, delta, moen, etc. including the brands you see for other faucets. It's just that a plumbing supply store will have ceramic guts in it instead of plastic. The model numbers may even be the same. I usually go to my plumber site to see the brands they carry then go to those mfg sites for specific product numbers to give my plumber.

Along this line, would a regular sprayer Faucet mounted to the left of the sink be terribly odd? There’s more room to do it that way. The sink then wouldn’t be centered in the base cabinet.

Either that or have the base cabinet bumped out but it would stick out a lot more in an already narrow laundry room.

have you considered a bath tub filler with spray? I have a wall mounted AXOR line with Hansgrohe. this is the faucet I have at my tub. Its not cheap but I got mine off eBay years ago at a fraction of the retail price. You might try your plumbing supply store for discounts.

Here is mine on my tub. If the hose is too long, you could get a shorter hose I would think. You can get it in the round handles like I have, or lever handles:
