Can we see the rest of the room?

A few possibilities: larger area rug, more accent color, more light.

I agree about the rug - let it extend beyond the furnishings. All the tables are underscale, and could be updated. I suggest a plant or decorative piece near the door, as the corner table does not function.

Tables are ball and claw style and I have them for years and
I don't want to part with them. The area behind the love seat
Is sort of a hallway leading to the master bedroom and the outdoor
room. What other suggestions?? There is a planter behind the loveseat.
Ceilings are high. I'm I missing scale? Larger objects?

The new pictures are great. Looks like you have tall ceilings. You can hang your art vertical, but you'll probably need a pair. Taller lamps will help as well. You can put a console behind the loveseat in the path way to the master, and move the floor plant else where. Accessorize the console with tall objects. Good luck!

I think a rug with the same shade of blue as in your art and some pillows would look nice. This picture has a different shade of blue but it is a good representation.

Lower the art so it is about 5" from the back of the sofa. Hanging nearly as high as the door frames is a mistake. You and your furniture live below the door frames, so decorate where you live and don't worry about the high ceilings. A larger rug that will sit under the front feet of both sofas and extend about 10" past the larger one on each end will help. Drapes must replace the vertical blinds. More and larger lamps, fewer, but more colorful pillows. You might create a "foyer" by placing a sofa table or credenza in front of the stationary side of the slider with new drapes for a backdrop, and a nice large floral arrangement of good quality silk flowers.

Remove table and lamp from corner add that plant there instead. Lower pic over sofa about 4" . Get a bigger 8 x10 area rug in a teal. Z Galleries has one very soft. Remove verticals on window. Add panels to end of window only. Go a woven fabric in color 2 shades darker than walls. Add some brighter pillows to sofa in a print, try a black n white chevron print. Mix it up.

A square or round coffee table would work better. 24" in glass. If you can find another picture like you have over sofa, hang 5" from top of sofa, hang no more than 2" apart vertically. You want to draw the eye up.

Window treatment :)

Where blue head is add a big palm instead. Remove that table. No small items on floor or walls. Use your Buddha head on end table or coffee table. A sofa table behind love seat. With tall candlesticks, books plants Buddha On it. They are very narrow but will make that area look finish.

The space to me seems like it could use some color! I would suggest bringing in hues via the wall color, maybe in the cool blue tones in the painting. Or, if you're feeling adventurous, paint the ceiling. It will draw the eyes up and make the room feel cozier. Also, totally unrelated to color, putting decorative sconces on either side of the painting would help visually fill the space; a larger rug would also help, but i'm guessing you want to stick with the one you have. I love your wall colours, the one thing i noticed is the loveseat, i would have preferred a chair more to the left. I like to keep be able to see through the door without furniture on the way.
