Thank you. Yes, I'm redoing everything because the bathroom is 20 years old and falling apart. LOL. I'm so literal minded at-times, that I didn't even think about the options you gave me. It's a loft condo so I'm going after a transitional-industrial look. Charcoal cabinets or walnut with mixed brush elements.

Looks like they did a 72" vanity and installed upper cabs on top, modified linen cabinet. This way you get extra countertop space.

You will find all the linen towers that are same depth as the vanity are custom built, any ready to buy and install are not as deep and they barely hold a folded bath towel. If you find a decent linen tower that is same depth as a vanity let me know :)

Take a look at Maria Killam’s website re her main bathroom vanity (she has a recent blog post about repainting the bathroom from Kelly green to a medium blue). I think the size is about the same as your space and her vanity has one sink and two towers. I was going to replace my vanity with one like yours (one tower), but the more I look at hers, the more I like the symmetry. I think her actual style might be more traditional than what you are looking for, but the basic design (proportions for towers, drawers vs doors, mirrors, sconces) is very nice.

sydney,,,those cabs are builder basic, 20 years old, and not even worth the trouble painting them. They are a super cheap, basic level vanity material.

Most vanities are now 21” depth. You said yours are 18”? If the larger depth of a newer vanity wouldn’t fit in your space some vanities can be cut down. We did that for our cabinet to leave more room in a small bathroom. This allows you to use ready made cabinets vs custom.

Beth - I just saw your other question. The distance from the left side wall to the end of the tower is 72". If I did 48", then the linen tower would need to be 24" or there's going to be space between the vanity and the linen tower, right? I guess I could ask my contractor how to fill it.

If this is a master bath, a vanity with two sinks would be the preferred layout. Towels and larger bottles can be stored under both sinks, and a bank of drawers would be nice next to each sink. You have 72” to work with.
Consider this: 24” sink base - 12” drawer base - 12” drawer base - 24” sink base. You can have a mirrored medicine cabinet over each sink and a single wall mirror between the medicine cabinets.

felizlady - thanks for your comments. I actually prefer 1 sink and the extra counter space. In fact, the trend in Chicago area in high rises is removing the 2nd sink for the extra counter space. But, before the trend, I've always preferred 1 sink.

it's 24". so if you did this, and found a matching vanity, top it with quartz or marble (or whatever you're thinking) it would look very nice.

they have the vanity in a 37". and a 60". So, you'd have to find a way to eat up the distance if you went w/the smaller one. maybe do a longer countertop and have your GC do some open cubbie spacing between the vanity/tower.

you can have your current mirror cut and framed, or buy a new one.

Since the tower acts as a sort of wall border up high, I'd do a nice tile on that wall above the vanity all the way up. get a nice new light
