Masterbath questions

Hi - We remolded our masterbath about a year ago. I didn’t run the tile all the way up to the ceiling or a little higher. ( 12ft ceilings). I kept it even with the window. I don’t like the way it looks and the tile is no longer available to add or go up higher. Any suggestions what I can do? I thought of wallpaper. Would I do all the way around the room or just the wall above the sinks? Another tile? I don’t want the room to look lopsided. Also I don’t like the wall color and going to change to an off white. Can’t find a runner rug either. I’ve brought several home but returned them. I like a boho/Persian/farmhouse looks. I’m really stuck! I would love suggestion. Thanks for your help. Joann. The room is long and narrow.

I actually think it may look a lot better when you paint the walls a color that appears in that tile. The tile will just blend in with the wall. And perhaps you could get someone to sew you a pretty Roman Shade for the window to provide a splash of color, whether a solid or a patterned fabric. Etsy may be helpful for finding someone.

I’m not sure it works in your bathroom but I’d consider it boho/farmhouse.

Something w visual appeal like this... to pull the eye to the window and not the tile line. I think the right paint color and a fresh window treatment will be all you need! It’s a very pretty bathroom!

I agree about your paint colour, choose a warm tone of off white to go with your tile.

Sorry, posted before I was done. Again, paint in off-white. I think what’s bugging you about the tile around your bathtub is it doesn’t look finished. You might be able to get a matching trim tile in the same pattern as your wall tile, if not get a trim tile that closely matches in colour. Your bathroom is all neutrals so I’m surprised you can’t find a rug runner that looks good. Choose a runner that has a lot of contrast to the tones of your room. I’m thinking an oriental runner in jewel tones. Whatever colour you choose (any colour will look good), choose decor pieces that have a bit of that same colour. Your current decor has no colour so it just kind of blends in.
