I only see 1 square out of place, but i agree that it is not immediately apparent. I know exactly how you feel about wanting to rip it out and correct it, but at this point, I would think it is more trouble than it's worth. The pattern is visually interesting enough that you really do have to search for it. I'd say leave it as is and get it quilted and bound!

It took me a long time to see the one square that is out of place. I love this pattern and if you don't tell anyone, they won't notice!

This is the section that should have been reversed. The center block is in the correct place, but the other two should have been switched. The directions said to sew the squares together and then add the setting triangles, because that would mean less opportunity for the bias edges on the setting triangles to stretch. After I sewed the first three blocks together, I turned the section and sewed the fourth block to the wrong end. I'm learning to live with it.

I'd like your opinions though. I found a backing fabric that was white with small blue and green geometric patterns, but it really fought with the top. So I found a backing that is a dark blue with a small white, very subtle pattern of jellyfish, of all things, that reads basically blue. The binding will be dark blue. I'm thinking I should get some dark blue thread to quilt it with. White seems like it might be too stark. What do you think?

I agree that you should use a darker quilting thread and I like the idea of a dark blue border as well. It will be a stunning finish!. I really do like some of patterns at Bonjour Quilts and this is one of her more eye catching ones.

Well, I still don't see it. So, it can't be all that bad. I like it just the way it is.

I needed to be told where the error was to see it.

I live between two Amish areas. I’ve heard that the Amish will put a mistake in a quilt on purpose because “only God is perfect”. Don’t know if that’s true ( the mistake, not God, LOL) but it’s a nice thought.

I have 2 quilts I have made that have "mistakes" in them. I think that is what makes them special!

Call me dense (I’ve been called far worse, LOL!) but I still cannot see the mistake.

Could you tell me what makes those three blocks “not right.”

Very good puzzle, LemonBasil. I see the three circled blocks, but I simply cannot “see” how they are “wrong.”

If I were a judge at a quilt show I would give it the “Best of Show” ribbon and never know the difference. 😊

Look at the outside block border in green - it's thicker. Like you, even after the mark out I struggled to see the different. Beautiful in my eyes.
