We are adding on a bedroom and reconfiguring current bedrooms so we have the opportunity to make the most out of our reach-in closets. I personally don't like doors on reach in closets because they always block some of the space or are left open anyway, protruding into the room. But we need to decide on what doors we would use eventually to determine how the closets should be framed and what size would be best for each closet so they can have the widest opening possible.

So, I'm looking for recommendations on closet doors. We've considered bypass doors using 4 smaller doors instead of 2 big doors, allowing access to the center of the closet. However, one bedroom's closets are too small for bypass. Does any one have experience with full access bifold doors? Any other ideas?
