Blue Ridge Hardwood?

Has anyone used Blue Ridge Hardwood flooring? Love? Hate? I stumbled upon them in the dungeons of the internet and the 4" Castlebury Weathered Cottage Eurosawn Oak looks really nice.

I’m wondering the same thing. Looking into the 5” castlebury wimborne solid white oak for a new construction. Reviews all seem positive.

Just an update, we went forward with the 5” plank hardwoods and love how they came out!!

Are you still loving these floors? Wimborne has been out of stock (my first pick), but weathered cottage just came back in stock. I'm trying to decide if I should hurry and place an order while I can. We're a busy household with pets and kids and I want to make sure whatever I get will hold up.

Hello. Just saw this thread. Our first pick is also the Wimborne, but it's still out of stock. The Blue Ridge Weathered Cottage looks close and it IS in stock. @midwesterndesign did you choose these floors? How do you like them? Do you have any pictures? Thanks!!

Still love the look of how they came out. Since being in the house for 8 months now I’ve noticed a plank or 2 with a crack in it probably due to settling. I’ve asked a carpenter if they thought it was due to the flooring quality but he thought it was probably due to the installers who should have picked a different plank to lay since the ones that have cracked probably already had a minor imperfection in it. We had the floors installed with nails and glue and they are otherwise holding up great. Here is a picture of the flooring in our kitchen but floors continue through out the house.

I had Home Depot put a special order in so I received it within 2 months I believe. Try asking if they can do the same

Just now seeing this. We ordered the wimborne and it was ready within a couple weeks. They produce to fill orders already placed, so go ahead and order even though it’s out of stock. We’re still waiting for it to acclimate (2 weeks in and still not where moisture levels need to be, so watch out for that), but the boards look great! We’re doing our entire first floor. I’ll add a photo once it’s complete.

Update: we had 1100 sq ft of wimborne in our house (with central ac) for two months and moisture levels didn’t budge from 13%. Installers came out a total of 3 times. We ultimately had to return all of the flooring as it was also warped. I’m so frustrated and now it’s back to square one. Buyer beware! It seems like they’re pumping it out of the mills and into customers homes without properly drying it.

We ordered Blue Ridge flooring through Home Depot. The flooring panels end to end had varying widths. We now have gaps ranging from 1/16" and 1/4" with a majority of the panels. I will let you decide whether we hate it or not.
