Get in touch with a company that sells what you probably need. I used Inspired LED after looking at some of the recommendations here. They have "design services" that can help you with what you need to purchase to get the products to do what you want. They were great to work with.

I am very pleased with the product that we purchased from them for 2 different applications. I have no affiliation with that company.

Good luck!

Here's a couple vids-

I’m about to do this in our new kitchen. You will need to diy it if you don’t want to pay a ton. You’ll need the strips, wiring, connectors, a transformer, and potentially a channel with diffuser if you don’t want hot spots.

LED strips are a great DIY project, think it came out to ~$5/ft. Here's a list of what I used, probably a little dated but you get the idea. Lots of youtubes to help. I never seem to use my diimer.

power supply - $9

LED strip lights - $15 for 16 feet

26 gauge wire - $7.60 for a spool to connect the LED strips (solder)

Aluminum channel diffusers - $27 for 5 pieces of 1 yard each

Dimmers - $10 for 3. Optional parts
