Cabinet color help with Mont Blanc quartzite.

I have a beautiful piece (IMHO) of Mont Blanc quartzite on hold but no sample to help me with cabinet color in our lighting. I did take some 8" BM paper samples to the warehouse - white dove, cloud nine, simply white, cloud white (shall I go on?), but it was just an awkward way to make a big decision. Or is that the way to go? The slab is warm white with touches of greige (deeper than in picture), and we are going for the clean, transitional look so definitely some sort of white for cabinet. We have a wall of windows facing north in the kitchen (high rise so no trees or other color influences). For those who have used this as kitchen countertop, what was your cabinet color? Other thoughts? Thanks a bunch!

If you have a big BM sample and place it against the stone you should be able to see if it matches. Look for a color that blends perfectly with the largest percentage of the slab. I would go with the lightest color that exists naturally in the stone. I agree with you that it is a beautiful piece!

Well after the deep deep rabbit hole of whites and greys, I went with a near match of BM flint. LOVE it.

@moumichak thanks for the compliment...

the flint color works so well with the MB slab. I have no idea what white would have worked either. flint seems to be one of those is it grey? is it blue? do i see a touch of green, or is that a touch of ??? so it fits well with the swirls. And it is beautiful with the gold tone bling bling of the pulls. the mount blanc is hardy too, we honed it. you wont be disappointed.

I have the same dilemma. I have satin Mont Blanc and painting my cabinets white. I don't know if I should go with BM White Dove, BM Chantilly Lace or BM White Heron. I already tried looking at large Samplize Paint Samples and I still don't know.

Now I’m on the hunt for Mont Blanc after seeing these pictures! I really liked some slabs of Imperial Danby marble and kind of have an obsession, but my practical side holds me back. I love the creamy white with subtle hints of gold and gray of the Danby. I’ve had granite for 13 years that has been so easy!

I used simply white on my cabinets my island is an espresso it looks great with the Mont Blanc. Sometimes I think I made a mistake and should have done it all in espresso but I wanted a light kitchen
