Remodeling Design Dilemma Bathrooms

Bathroom Shower Remodel

We've decided to tackle a shower remodel on our own and are looking for some advice on tile selection. The shower is small - 3x3x3. I originally wanted to use subway tiles, but was told that when tiling a small shower, the bigger the tiles, the better. How big is too big? Is there some kind of online design tool that we could use to plan everything out?

IMO before tackling this I would see if there is a way to enlarge the shower that is really tiny and of course a total rip out and start over anyway . I do agree larger tile is nicer in a shower even just to avoid all the grout lines for cleaning. I aslo like the bathroom flooring and the shower wall sto be the same and for sure in a small space. Could you post some pictures and a to scale floor plan of the space those are always helpful.

3 x 3 x 3 is awfully small.. I would speak to a contractor or your designer about the possibility of making it bigger.
