Complete bathroom remodel

I would love to do a complete remodel. I am open to moving anything anywhere. I attached some pictures along with a quick sketch. I do not want the tub so would like to trade with a larger shower, possibly a linen closet? Any and all ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

What do the two doors lead to? Do you need both?? I would not want the shower to have a window in it so I’m thinking if you can block the door add the shower there. And put the toilet below the window area. Then obviously gut the rest. What’s your style?

I have yet to find one. Was hoping to have some ideas to present.

Haha loveeee farmhouse too!!! I think this space is so workable. I’d possibly brick up the window or move a door before deciding on anything else. Once you see which you want to do we can choose the finishes

In terms of hiring a designer, what YOU bring to the initial meeting are your inspiration photos and NOT the actual design.

Spend time downloading all the pictures that appeal to you. Don't think too hard about what is appealing but just save on your computer.

Also spend time thinking about how you want the bathroom to function for you.

When I met with my designer I showed her my inspiration photos - discussed what I was trying to achieve - discussed budget in terms of whether it was realistic of course - and then of course I had to decide whether to use her - which I did. And we entered into a contract which was somewhat of a step contract - eg. I hired her to draw up the plans to be submitted to the City for permits as well as for contractors so they could bid on the ACTUAL project. Separately I hired her to provide me with a "design - e.g the looks and feel. The cost of the design would be treated as an advance against her design services if I decided to move forward - but in any event I owned everything since I had paid for it.

When she came back with her design she had really nailed what I liked about my inspirations and although there was some tweaking and collaboration and fine tuning especially in terms of picking specific finishes - like actual marble slab - faucets - etc., the designs were pretty much what I went forward with.

    A good designer is indispensable.

That window is going to be a major problem with expanding the shower or putting a linen closet there. Are you prepared to deal with that? Also, be aware that toilets and showers require different size drains, so swapping fixtures around may be more complicated and expensive than you might expect.
