My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

How did you manage the window running down to the counter level?

In NJ we have to have electrical outlets within 24 inches on either side of the sink. Our sink is centered in a long bay of windows so unless we left room UNDER the windows, we couldnt get our outlets to code. How did you get around this? Did you conceal outlets in a drawer front? Thanks! Gorgeous ktichen!

    Thank you for your comment. Sorry it took me so long to respond as I've been swamped on several projects.
    The window extends about a foot out, a subtle bay window. I ran the granite counter top all the way out to the sill, skipped the apron and ran the casing straight down to the granite. I strongly suggest this if you can manage it. Really brings the outdoors in and gives it a very crisp and clean finished look.

    It's difficult to see in this photo but there are outlets behind the oranges embedded in the subway tiles and on the other side, the space hidden behind the tall vase sitting on the island.

      really looks fabulous and thanks for the response! our window bay ended up being too big (things you dont think about when designing as a lay person!) to accomodate the code for outlets and we had to put them under the window vs running the window down to the counter. i just love that idea! maybe next time...!
