Hi, Looking to add a heat out kit to my mezzo fireplace. It radiates way too much heat for my basement. The unit vents through 8 inch pipe and snorkel kit outside in hand dug well. I'd like to vent this heat outside into an unused chimney through a pre built access door in basement wall. Does this seem alright? Thoughts? Appreciate any input.
