I've retrofitted Rev-a-shelf before. They are well made and priced accordingly. (And nobody else had the size I needed...)

Depending on the size and what went in it, I could see using baskets (or plastic bins) instead.

I ordered custom sized shelves from Shelves That Slide several times and have been very happy with the quality. They can make any size you need. I thought the price was reasonable. I'm not sure how the price compares to the premade ones, but it seemed in line.
