What are your goals for the changes? Do you want more storage? A different style or color of cabinetry?

Why do you want to remove the sink? It looks like you just it, or is it just a place to drop stuff and you don't use the faucet anyway? What would you like in its place? A closet, or countertop with drawers beneath?

Do you want a built-in hamper, or does the one you have suit your needs better?

Do you need space for drip-drying, folding, ironing, steaming clothes?

What other purposes does this room have? Is that dog gear on the hooks? Do you hang jackets, drop shoes, etc in there?

What are the dimensions of the room, and where does it lead from? A hallway? Kitchen? Something else?

I would like new cabinetry and an idea of what to put in the spot where the sink is, I do need more counter space. The sink is way too small and I just throw used rags in there.

No need for a built-in hamper. I have a space elsewhere that I use for hang-drying and ironing.

We use the hooks for the dog items and our bathing suits (after dried) and daughters snow pants. We do not hang coats or drop shoes in there.

Dimensions are: 72"w x 87"L

The room is right off the garage, so when you come in from the garage, laundry room is directly to the left and on the right from the garage door is a drop area for shoes and locker space for coats, etc. and then there is a bathroom to the right of that. And when you walk straight it goes into the kitchen.

I would move the W/D to the right and add a countertop across the back wall. You need 60" for a W/D so you have enough depth to make that work. We used IKEA Axstad cabinets in our new laundry room and are very happy with them.
