I thought about posting it yesterday (here) and plum forgot. Oh well only 4 seconds diff. :-)

On the solstices the sun angle doesn't change much a month before and after it. So we'll begin to see some significant difference by late Jan.....

Yes, there's very little change for a week before and a week after the winter soltice. By end of January, days are about an hour longer by then.
