Covid is turning our supposed forever home into a nightmare. Rising costs, supply issues,

The builder is having trouble getting supplies, so is ordering everything far in advance. Unfortunately, we’re under a stay-at-home order, so are required to make all exterior choices from tiny samples or brochures. I know that paint sample lie, so these must too, right?

Our latest challenge is to select exterior stone, roofing, siding & shakes, soffit & fascia & garage door colors. Normally they have a one day meeting for buyers with all vendors and samples present, but...Covid.

I’ve tried looking at samples, brochures, online photos. Various vendor visualization tools that don’t really represent colors or scale accurately. I’ve looked at other houses in the subdivision on google earth. My husband feels should match the garage doors.. Dark grey brick, doors, trim, railings.

I’m trying to inject some colour/warmth, perhaps wrongly, with the roofing and vinyl shakes above the garage.

Any input would be wELcMe. Feels like my sanity is circling the drain!

Roof Shingles:

Garage Door (top) Dark Sand

Soffits & Fascia: (Bottom) Terra Bronze

Should fascia blend with the roofing or with the siding shakes above garage door??

Siding & shakes: Brownstone...The sample looks much lighter in the photo than IRL.

I’m open to an upgrade to premium, the colours are darker and might fade less...

Stone:

Shouldice estate stone Hampton. (Chosen because it’s supposedly warm vs cold and low contrast colors)
