how does the house sit on the lot?

Which direction is north?

I have a craftsman house on a corner 9100 square foot lot.

Hope this photo is a little bit better. Circled our lot up there on the top. I also uploaded a PDF version of house plan for better viewing. Right now builder has house facing the street almost straight south. The back of the lot is a tree line. Other thing worth noting is lot has community mailbox on front left side, so my driveway is somewhat prohibited from that area.

Is there an upstairs, basement, or both?

Full basement, to be finished, no upstairs. I am really willing to change anything at this point. Kind of just taking what houses in the area look like and trying to put some touch on it to make it look custom, but like I said I have no clue what I am doing...

If this is a new large subdivision, isn't there a group of builders to choose from, and they each have maybe 3 or 4 plans each to then choose? Or one builder?

Can't zoom in much on your attachments, but your plan is very basic. It does not address the site at all, and sounds like is just plopped on with no regard to adjacent house footprints or sun facing. The massing should take advantage of the pie shape, and try to arrange functions so your outdoor living areas are not exclusively north facing.

The "craftsman exterior" you desire will basically be like frosting on a cake, there is nothing "craftsman" in the plan layout.

From what I can see of your plan I like most of it. I might try to get the master bedroom itself on the outer corner. so you can have more windows. Put the bath and closet to the interior. Closet especially. No need to waste exterior wall space on a closet.

Can you hire an architect to design you a true custom home that will suit the property and your family as opposed to trying to play Tetris?

I like your floor plan. To address the missing office, have you thought of maybe pushing out your covered porch a bit? You might be able to fit a small office just inside the front door. Or hard to see which way your stairs run, but if you change direction, you might be able to fit powder room over top, and use some space for office off the kitchen with some of the powder room space?

I think it’s cute. Lots of good things about it. I’m assuming when you said you want it to look custom the reality is that it isn’t custom and you want to make some changes to a plan that exists to make it yours? If you were doing a proper custom home you would be able to design and plan for the lot and your needs. Is that happening here?

Since you will have a basement why not put the office down trite?

Consider the concept of shifting the garage, laundry, powder, kitchen, and dining block back. My bubble diagram shows the plan flipped (moving the mailboxes) but it would not have to be. Food for thought.
