I don’t understand how this can be Soot? It looks so blue in the photos. We purchased a pint of it at Benjamin Moore last weekend and put a couple of coats on our white cabinets to see how we’d like it. It looks so black in our kitchen.

I've seen a lot of photos with blue cabinets and the color really can't be trusted to how it reads in pictures. It seems like the camera flash or general lighting will change the look substantially. Soot is basically black with a hint of blue, but looks nothing like these pictures.
