thank you. Im on the cusp of ordering a whole suite of Cafe appliances. Im questioning whether to get this refrigerator or a GE Cafe side by side with ice/water in the freezer door vs the ice/water/hot water in the refrigerator door of the French door model. Any opinion?

Well, personally, I wouldn't order a suite from the same manufacturer - no one does all of them well (I would definitely consider a Bosch or Miele dishwasher over a GE).

As to the fridge, the freezer in a SxS is fairly narrow. Do check the models in person to see if you can deal with that.

The French Door model does have hot water in the door, and it's ridiculous. We never use that option. It takes long to heat up and I think the maximum volume is 8 or 10 ounces of water. It's MUCH quicker and more efficient to use an electric kettle (we have one with multiple temperature settings). So personally, it's a gimmick and a waste of money.

We watched that video and successfully removed the bin on the right side of the French doors by lifting the right side door. The left side with the ice/water dispenser is the problem. It won't lift. Anyone figure out how to get the drawer out past the left hand side door that does not allow enough space to maneuver it out?
