Need Advice Re: Vacuum & Dog Urine

I'm looking for help regarding my 2 yr old Hoover up rite, my aide vacuumed over a spot where my Yorkie had peed and now the vacuum won't pick up anything. I removed the canister and washed that and the filter out thoroughly, is there anything more I can do besides throw it in a dumpster??

It has no suction? Did you turn it over to check the underside, the brush bar? You usually can remove the bar to check further. See if a belt broke. Unplug first.

i wish you had posted on Kitchen Table. There is so much knowledge there.
