I have a smaller version of a brick bungalow. My front door is located on the side of the house at ground level. When you open the front door-there is a set of stairs inside leading to the main floor of the house. At the top of the stairs-you can turn to your right for the living room or the left for the dining room. I’d like to rebuild the stairs outside and move the door up. Then combine the two rooms. A home similar to ours did this (I have photos from Zillow). Not sure who to contact. Brick mason, carpenter etc. the walls coming down are not load bearing-the floor would need to be built out. Exterior is brick.
