Cambria doesn't have a magical process, but they the undoubted leader in innovating colors and movements. They've decided not to compete on price and for that I admire them. So much I don't compete on price either.

Do you have your heart set on quartz for a particular reason? For that kind of money, I'd go with a natural stone any day of the week. I'm not in a really high COL area, but also not in a low COL area -- I paid ~$130 sq ft for a higher-end granite installed. No way would I pay $180 sq ft for a man-made wanna-be.

Mxk3, Natural stone isn't an option because I don't want to do any countertop maintenancw. Quartz meets our needs best. We'll have the Cambria people come to measure and give us a price. Since that's their marketing scheme, we'll go along with it knowing we can always decide something else. If it is more than we'd care to spend, 'll look into other quartz options (like Caesarstone or Silestone).
