76" is the width of a king mattress and a full is 53", so you have 30" more than you need. How do you plan to handle that? They are woven so they can't be cut down without unraveling them. I would put them back on the 2nd hand market for enough money to get back what you have in them and pay for any ad or fee to post them at different sale sites.

IMO not happening unless you would find 2 night table exactly the size to only cover the excess and IMO that would becustom so what ever you saved on the headboard you would more than spend on custom night tables .

I think it might look ok even if they are larger, no? Otherwise, can you overlap them a little in the middle? This style and material does not have to look ‘perfect’ IMO.

Or, you keep one of them centrally located and you diy two smaller ones on each side.

I know your situation is different from the photo below. I posted photo to illustrate that having a headboard wider than the bead is not unheard of.

They’re gorgeous and I wouldn’t give them up. But maybe you can put them in a space that needs twin beds?

Just an idea.....how about turning them upside down and cutting off the (legs) so the two pieces are straight across. After putting them side by side, how much of the bed will cover the curved part? Like, can you tell that the headboard is curved or will the mattress cover that curved center part. I know you will have a curved part on each side of your bed but I am thinking you could put two small book cases or two-drawer night stands and that will hide the curved part. May not work but they are very pretty and I am sure they can be used.

It would be a crime, but what about painting the overage the same colour as the wall to make it visually diminish/disappear? Or adding tall frondy plants on either side of the bed to cover the overage?

ETA: If nothing works, feel free to drive them over to my place. I have two full beds in need of headboards ;-)

Sell them or get two full-size beds which is one of the trends for master bedrooms.

I suppose you could chop off the legs, put the flat sides together, and wall mount it or figure out how to reattach the legs to the bottom of the oval. Not sure if that's the look you're going for, but it would be a way to reconfigure the pair into a single unit that might be closer to the right dimensions, though I'd measure the legs and arched to make sure you'll end up with a desirable finished size before starting you furniture surgery.

only 15" extra on each side? why not just find a good-sized nightstand, and one that either blends in, or something special.
