Could be made by Frigidaire.

I believe I read that they changed manufacturers from Whirlpool to Frigidaire in their appliance line.

I remember looking at their web site in the last month to 6 weeks and checking out their web site to look at their dishwashers and noticed one designated as "new". Checked it out and it seemed very "Frigidaireish" to me as their other ones were undoubtedly Whirlpool. So remains to be seen just how much their go with Frigidaire vs. Whirlpool. And given Frigidaire has the connection with Electrolux and Ikea being a Swedish company. .

The IKEA TVÄRSÄKER appears similar to the Frigidaire Gallery GCRI3058AF at a slightly lower price but with a longer warranty. There's no Air Fry and the control panel is somewhat different with the controls packed tighter together. The Frigidaire FGIH3047VF slide-in is also well-priced though there's a significant premium over the standalone model whose features are identical.

If anyone wants a cheap, free-standing induction range this is now on sale at IKEA for $880 for IKEA Family members. Plus, it has a five year warranty. It is the same as the Frigidaire Gallery except it lacks the Gallery's air fry feature. And, air fry is just a fancy term for convection anyway.

I know it isn't nearly as well-made and doesn't have nearly the same features, but the price difference is huge between this and the nearly $4000 Café I am considering.

@julieste- We have the Frigidaire Gallery slide in. We're thrilled with it. It is only a few months old, but I trust Electrolux more than Haier.

Thanks for the Frigidaire endorsement. I know it gets lots of very positive reviews from professional reviewers.

Does the TVÄRSÄKER need a 220? I saw 240?

Yesterday at Ikea (Oct 3, 2021) Caton, MI, an Ikea employee confirmed that appliances since last Oct are all Frigidaire (and specifically referenced parent co. Electrolux), exception is range hoods which are made by an Italian firm.
