need help with my dining chairs.

Hello, please help me as I feel my new chairs look nice when I look towards my family room but when I sit in my family room and look towards kitchen then it look kettle off to me. Is it me? I can change fabric and I want to get some opinion. Do you think I should change fabric? What color? I love tan, oatmeal colors . Most of my furnitures are very light colors. Please help.

I think they are fine. What’s happening is when you look to the living room, those colors are reflected in the artwork. When you look into the kitchen, it’s just white. Try to add those colors in through decor or a canister set, towels, etc. to see if that helps.

Thanks a lot. Yes I thought about it. I can actually change fabric too. What do you think? If I change this to this color? Oatmeal color

I agree with Nancy. I love the fun colors, especially since pretty much everything else in view except for the living room artwork is neutral. Just add some accessories like a case on the counter or dish towels with the same colors and they will look more cohesive with the kitchen.

    Vase, not case.

I think a rug would help ... plus accessories ... all in the colors of the chairs.

Love your chairs, don't change them, they are wonderful!

I think the chairs look great from both views. Personally mismatched makes me anxious in my own space, so I might prefer to go with just the green which relates well to the artwork, or maybe two green and two blue. But this is your space and what you have looks very nice just as it is. I prefer on of the colors or all of the colors over the beige.

Great light fixture [detail but not too much]...great chairs....table is fine. Add an area rug and a big centerpiece [even just a big bowl w fruit] w a runner on the table.

I’m not a fan of the multi colored chairs and I think going with oatmeal will make the chairs feel a bit too formal.

It‘s an informal dining area and something casual and complementary to your family room as well would be a good option. Sunbrella fabric is always a good choice and you could use two fabrics...if brave (have different options where you place).

On another note, the dining set feels a bit lost in the space and to ground it (if feasible), I’d centre set under ceiling light and to mirror and add a modern black and glass chandelier.

I love the chandelier idea. I will definitely try that. I will also try to add accessories in kitchen to see if I like it. By the way. I am waiting fir a wing chair fir family room which is bluish tone same as the art in my family room. The chair will sit by the fireplace so it will have more colors and I am nervous. 😆

An Ikat pattern is classic and always fun, incorporating the bluish shade and other colors in family room

Something with teal or a peacock shade.
