This is a new build? Why isn’t your builder handling the cabinets for you?

Painted slab door? Doable, but why not laminate, TFL or Acrylic? MUCH more durable. You can buy from a cabinetry dealer. Find a Shiloh Eclipse dealer in your area.

Cabinets were done outside of the contract as we couldn’t finalize those before we did the contract so we could get started during the pandemic. Not a big deal, lots was outside of that contract, like all the appliances.
Not locked into painted slab, so definitely open to TFL or acrylic. Modern snazzy... Just disappointed in the cabinet people so far.

Peter, are you disappointed in their materials, design or response time? If response time, keep in mind that most dealers/cabinetmakers are experiencing 3-4 times increased business and are having a tough time keeping up....myself included!

Slow responses. Materials look legit from https://www.wwwoodproducts.com which is the Shiloh parent, in this case, the https://www.eclipsecabinetry.com has multiple examples we’d be good with.

Yep, slow response is happening everywhere! It's taking me 2-4 weeks to get quotes out sometimes (especially full installed kitchens) unless people come in with a list of cabinets. Eclipse cabinetry is a nice mid-grade cabinet and their TFL finishes are a very nice price point! They have dealers all over the US.

We have it fully designed out, panels, inserts, widths, everything is done... except the vendor. I would say no more revisions, we’re ready to write a check.

Call John Brunke at DeJon Cabinetry. I worked for him years ago. He's in Detroit, but I just spoke with him and he's doing a job in Florida so the distance isn't a big deal.
