Our house has an addition. The previous homeowner added it on and put half the kitchen in the addition and Left half in the old part. Because of this there’s a load bearing wall in the middle of the kitchen. I’ve posted a layout I made in ikeas kitchen planner. You can see the wall on the layout. We’re going to have estimates to remove the wall but I’m not just not sure it will be in the budget. I was also thinking about seeing if we can make them into columns instead of the walls but there’s also electric and water running through.

We have a slab foundation so moving water and gas lines very far would be a challenge.

Does anyone have any amazing ideas? If not this will probably be the layout for the new Kitchen as well. In the past you all have been so helpful at pointing out great ideas I would have never thought of.
