Unless you never plan to plug in any appliances to the power strip, I’d find the cords hanging down from the cabinet far more visually distracting than having outlets in the quartz backsplash Itself.

I love angled power strips especially in your situation. Here is my kitchen. I didn’t follow my own rules (pick all surfaces out before construction) or else I would have done black power strips on the black tile. Even so they don’t show much especially from standing. I prefer the tile clean. 1” light rail for reference.

If you use the power strip, I think your cabinets will require a short light valance.

I wanted to use under-cabinet plug mold but ultimately decided against it -- my electrical behind the walls was so jacked up from the previous owner DIY-ing things, and there were issues with the panel too, and since the plugs need to be on GFCI, it was a whole lotta $$$$ to get it wired properly, it wasn't simply a case of hide the connections up inside the cabinets and call it a day. Too bad, too -- I do think it gives a clean, streamlined look not to have to look at outlets. Just mentioning so you realize there are issues to consider above and beyond aesthetics.

LeGrand makes 3/4" flat plug-mold -- you won't see it as long as your cabinet lip is at least that deep. I would take a look at that rather than the angled one.

@Therese A, I have inset cabinets with a light rail and have both angled plugmold and undercabinet lighting from Task around the kitchen. The only appliance that I keep on the counter is the Keurig so we have a regular outlet there. The plugmold is not visible when standing and only slightly visible when seated at the island.
