Need Help with Selecting Kitchen Backsplash + Edge Trim
My mother says her kitchen is "too white" for the house and would like suggestions for a warm backsplash and edge trim. See pix below. ( Knobs will be installed to the upper cabinets and pulls to the lower cabinets. In addition, my mother plans to add items with color to her counters.)
Please recommend the following.
1.) Backplash that will warm up (natural stone, nothing glossy/reflective) the kitchen and compliment the white cabinets and quartz countertops. Lowe's or Home Depot are preferred as she can visit the store and view suggestions in person. However, she welcomes suggestions from any store.
2.) Edge trim that complements the recommended backsplash. She's unsure of whether to use the basic white Schluter Sytem Bright White Aluminum Tile Edge Trim OR a Marble Pencil Liner Edge Trim.
What do you think of the backsplash shown below?...
The family room is sage, beige and rust/wine--warm colors in adjacent room.

Thank you, Lisa! Those are great choices that I will present to my mother. What do you think about the ones below?
Not sure if this whites will match the cabinets, but the beige should compliment the wall color. Thoughts? It's a bit pricey so I'd rather not chance it if the whites won't blend well.

Can you get a sample or one box of these and then return them if you don't like them
I like all of the last choices you posted but this is my favorite.
I would see if you can get a box of each if the favorites and return whatever you don't life. this way you can take to a bunch of them together to see how they will look and step back and decide.
