I'd add arched corbels (sp) and enhance it.

I see nothing wrong with the curves. I rather like them. What I dont like are all those squared off bushes like hedges, that hide a good share of the front of you house. I would remove them all, and get all new front landscaping.

Are you talking about the arched doorway? It's fine. All you need to do is remove the overgrown shrubs on either side of it to open up the entryway. I wouldn't suggest gray for the house, unless it's a very light, almost white gray, or it will be too close to your roof color. Paint the garage the same color as your stucco, and paint the front door white so it stands out. The black door gets lost in the shaded alcove.

I think the landscaping and the windows are worse than the archway. Maybe you could just bust the whole thing out and install posts to support the roof all the way across.

And new hardscape. ( lighter driveway and walkway)
This home has so much potential to be a dream oasis. Love it.
