Do you remember what brand matt you purchased at Costco? I don't use my dishwasher, except to hang a towel from it's handle, but I think I'll install a towel rack like you did in front of the sink. I do cook a lot, it seems I'd need a matt in front of the range for splashes. Thanks.

IMO they are always a tripping hazard and 3 is at least 2 too many. I think in front of the sink/ DW is really yhe only space to put one.

One long one in front of the sink and dishwasher area only. Three is a major trip hazard.

Dan...I don’t recall the brand. It was over 5 years ago that we bought it. I suggest you go to Costco, and just see what they have now. I’m sure you’ll find something appropriate...without spending $$$.

That‘s not a towel bar under the sink...it’s just a pull, like what’s on all the drawers and doors. it’s on a pulldown drawer, where I keep a supply of extra blue scrubby sponges, still in their wrappers. Whatever pulls you’re using on your cabs, install one there. I have all drawers under the sink.

And rather than hide would just make it a design feature. A vinyl mat by the sink would be perfect. Without knowing much of your style but looking at the provided picture can recommend something like this

@Dan Kay the issue with 2 or 3 mats is the gel ones slope to the edge so when side by side you will have a valley. That valley will collect crap and trip you!
