Your grass is lovely, but it's the end of winter and your hydrangeas haven't leafed out yet. Perhaps what you need is some evergreen ground cover between the hydrangeas. Then as soon as it's safe to plant get some early season annuals to plant along the walk. If you have perennials here that just haven't come up yet, you still might be able to plant annuals such as pansy and snapdragon to fill in with color until your perennials emerge. Next fall you can plant bulbs such as daffodils or hyacinth between your perennials. They should come up early and give you some relief from late winter blahs.

can you paint the front door and the shutters? it's not major but will give a bit of sprucing

I gave you a deeper blue w/a hint of gray to it. (the red door is another option). bring in some boston ferns on the sides for pops of the green and pillows.

Try BM Gentlemans Gray, or some of these others

I'd also paint that bench. (red, or white or a soft gray) that current dull color isn't doing much. throw on some colorful pillows.

If you don't like the blue options, try this red door, and the shutters in the Chadwick.

no. either the blue or the red combo will go w/the roof quite well.

right now the faded green and blah door aren't giving you anything !! it's only paint.

try it. I promise you the changes will be enough for you to go 'wow'. don't under estimate the power of paint. (and don't forget that bench and pillows)
