We are in the process of designing a new build that will include a stair well up to a gym/loft and a stairwell down to a basement. I'm trying to decide whether to plan for electrical for wall/sconce type lighting or ceiling/pendant lighting. Does anyone have any suggestions, or pros/cons if either approach?
