Please ignore the title and body of this original post. houzz posts don't work! They need to fix it. i can only post when it's simple, or something???

I'm looking for a built in microwave that fits inside of a 15" upper. Are there any models that fit? Should i upgrade this wall to 18" uppers to accommodate the larger built ins???

It's probably easier for me to get an over the range microwave and stick it up there. These sharp branded are an odd 24 inch size.

I'll have to pack it out from the wall 3" because of the 15" uppers but that's not too bad I guess.

Well easier and better are not the same thing. If you have an over the range, it means you’re not doing a proper vent hood, which is not a good thing.
What space do you have available? There may be other options

Oh, sorry. I mean I'm going to put an over the range overtop of the counter. The wall vent hood will be separate. The micro vent will never/rwrely be used.
