Yes, but if they thrive, and I hope they do, you’ll have to replant them in a bigger pot before too long. My understanding is that young roses of whatever size need to grow roots right away, before they put energy into canes and blooms, so it’s best to give them more room right away and avoid the shock of another transplant down the line.

Six hours of sun, lots of fresh outdoor air, and thorough soaking at the root level once or twice a week: that’s all they need this spring and summer.

Mini refers to the size of blooms and and leaves. It can actually get quite large so let them get roots first and then be ready with a bigger pot.
