Maybe clean up the break to remove the jagged edges and give us a side view so we can see where the beak is relative to the branch collar.

@tsugajunkie z5 SE WI ♱ thank for a fast reply, however, the tree is at my dads house,way far away from me, and since i dont drive, i can only afford to go out there maybe once a week to do yard maintenence and tree stuff, so a picture from a different angle will have to wait until then, thanks tho!

tree time is counted in decades ... there is nothing more for you to do.. in any hurry ...

maybe in a year or 3.. we can do some pruning to set it back on course ..

the injury is going to spur on some new growth.. we will probably want to remove some of that.. and train one leader back up ...

trees heal themselves.. unless you screw it up further.. so be in no hurry to fix it ...

If that crabapple grows anywhere near the size of my crabapple then it's way too close to the house. It's still small enough to move easily but it won't stay that way for long.

Crabapples come in all shapes and sizes. There are a number of columnar forms that will never develop a canopy spread much beyond 8-10 feet and will fit nicely into confined spaces. The one in the OP's photo appears to have such a narrow, columnar habit based on the upswept branching structure.

Had a very similar situation happen. How is the tree doing now?
