I'm remodeling a traditional house in transitional style and want to keep resale value in mind. Kitchen cabinets will be white shaker and flooring will be wide oak plank engineered hardwood. Style wise, I'm wondering what would be better between black matte hardware in the kitchen or stainless steel? I want it to look updated but timeless. Appliances will be stainless steel. Does anyone think that kitchen and bathroom fixtures need to match?
