Ever notice how many people, who shouldn't, know it's your birthday. I'm referring to vendors, credit unions, magazines, ...... ? I got an invitation from a cruise line for a half-off birthday present to self ... cruise, and a birthday present fishing trip on the Amazon (I would have to lay out $3,150 for) from Cabela's, and a Happy Birthday 15% off coupon from AM Leonard. How do they know? I didn't tell them ...... except maybe the credit union. Other BD wishes came from Sportsman's Guide Club and 3 car dealerships.

One of my favorite quotes, from Euripides, could be pressed into service at birthday anniversaries. "If we could be twice young and twice old we could correct all our mistakes." What a life we could lead then, ehh? Fun to think about .......
