Hello Houzzers, we bought this house a year ago and I would love some help with the front door landing area. The landscaping is a whole other project that we aren't doing (yet), so I'm not looking for landscaping tips (yet). I would love some ideas for dressing up this front door area- it's pretty big so can handle a couple of big pots etc.
All the trim on the house is dark coffee brown, so I was going to paint the front door and the side railing things the same dk brown color but I'm open to other ideas? Also, the cement in front of the door is painted grey, any ideas for that? It's weird to me, because there is no grey anywhere else. The exterior is yellowish stone, so anything we do would need to look good w yellow (which is why I keep coming back to the dark brown). I'm looking to stay around $500 or so which seems adequate. Thank you for your ideas on how to make this area inviting and pretty!
