IMO the big difference is that one is made in North Carolina and one is made in California. Ir kind of depends on where you live. If you live on the East Coast it doesn't make sense to ship a sofa over the Rockies and vice versa.

from a quality/luxury standpoint, I think you're right that Maiden Home quality is clear cut above. Based on the swatches I've seen, think the Maiden Home fabrics are a far higher quality (from sourcing materials for pillows and CoM - my guess is the Maiden fabrics cost 2x more per yard to source than the Benchmade ones). Would definitely agree with the environmental consideration point if that's a big consideration and you live in Cali!
