Hi Monica....I would suggest the gray chair, it's a bit more sophisticated and suits the room. Please don't
think that yellow has to be added to the chair.

Your room is lovely, and the yellow accents are a joy. Poppity pop pop pop! I love the yellow chair too, but I agree with Matilda Bos that the grey chair is better. The only thing I'm missing in the room is art on one of the walls -- which may be because it's not visible in the views you are showing. I'd love to see something unusual up there which ties in the blue and yellow, and perhaps introduces another colour. But if you like the idea, choose something you love -- don't just choose for the colours. I rather like this, by Lacey Shelton (from Overstock), though the "tying in" may be a bit overstated. It looks as though, if you hung it between the fireplace and the staircase, it could double up by welcoming anyone coming through the front door.

ditto what matilda bos design studio wrote.. yellow chair has an altogether a different style.. won't recommend that one. loving your sofa and end & coffee table. The room looks quite lovely!!!

Btw I like the gray chair too, a small rectangular yellow pillow can tie it all together.

I agree with Sherry. I would go for the grey chair for the style and add a bold cushion, yellow.

I love the colour theme. I have a blue sofa like this and want to use orange as an accent colour...

I'm not against the yellow chair - use it tucked in left of the FP as an accent to pull that yellow across the room. All three chairs have some curves to them for a nice repetition of line. I think the two other chairs are a toss up - if you need the seating try them left and right of the round table. I'd prefer the one with more curves if you must chose one of the two. IMO, the pillows are a bit overscale and cottage style for the tufted velvet?? sofa. The yellow in them is a little too pale as well.

Your room is looking great! I like the gray chair ... style goes well with rest of room.
